WINDS OF PLAGUE Announces New Drummer

October 9, 2008

Los Angeles band WINDS OF PLAGUE was hand-picked by Glenn Danzig for his 20th anniversary tour this fall. The massive North American trek, dubbed the "Blackest of The Black", kicks off tonight and also features DIMMU BORGIR, MOONSPELL and SKELETONWITCH.

WINDS OF PLAGUE vocalist Johnny comments: "We have been hard at work over the last few weeks fine-tuning our live sound and pushing our show to a whole new level for this year's 'Blackest of The Black' tour. To be on stage every night with DIMMU, one of my all time favorite bands, and the legendary DANZIG is truly a dream come true and a milestone for the band. We're also happy to announce that Art Cruz has now officially joined the band on drums and has more than filled the shoes of our past drummer. Come hang out and raise some hell with us."

"The Impaler", the new video from WINDS OF PLAGUE, can be viewed below. The clip, which was reportedly rejected by MTV due to its supposed "graphic language and questionable content," was helmed by up-and-coming director Jake Avignone.
